2021 is the year of superheroes and fighting evil. There are too many amazing movies and series coming out throughout 2021 that you do not wanna miss!
MCU
“WandaVision” (Jan. 15)
The death of Vision in The Infinity War broke more hearts than just the Scarlet Witch’s. WandaVision is going to touch and heal those hearts with this miniseries sitcom where Wanda Maximoff and Vision build a life in the idyllic suburban town of Westview in the 50s, trying to conceal their powers. Streaming on Disney+, the series brings home The Marvel dream couple.
“The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” (March 19)
We saw with much shock as Captain handed over his shield to The Falcon, Sam Wilson making him the successor. But would this turn out to be a good thing? Will he replace the beloved Captain for both the fans and The Winter Soldier? Would the combo of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier prove to be a good one? Fingers crossed with anticipation that the series answers all the questions running through the fans’ heads.
“Loki” (May)
The God of Mischief doesn’t rest from having fun. So when The Endgame came to an end, Loki went about his mission stealing the Tesseract and traveling through time, altering human history. This series is a journey full of mischief and some paying back with interest for his own shenanigans by The God of Mischief himself.
"Black Widow" (May 7)
Natasha Romanoff proved that you don’t need superpowers to be a superhero. You just need to have faith in yourself and fight till death for what you believe in. We know that exactly what she did till the very end. But what about the past that turned her into this superhero? This movie is a glimpse into her past and the present where she fights old demons.
“What If...?" (mid-2021)
Ever wonder what would have happened if Captain America’s flight never went into the ice or if Tony Stark didn’t succeed with the armour? This series is full of such what ifs that were left unexplored until now in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
“Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" (July 9)
Shang-Chi is the Marvel version of Bruce Lee, Master of Kung Fu, fighting evil, confronting a past that he believed he had left behind.

What would a teenager do if she found out she has polymorphous powers - the ability to stretch her body in almost any way imaginable? She would follow the steps of her hero, Captain Marvel and become an Avenger!
“Eternals" (Nov. 5)
Aren’t you even a little curious on what happened to Earth after Avengers: Endgame? What if someone told you an immortal alien race that secretly lived on Earth for over 7000 years reunite to protect humanity from their evil counterparts? Are you feeling the goosebumps already?
Clint Barton retires from being Hawkeye to be a full-time family man after losing his best friend. But not before he passed on his knowledge and skills to Kate Bishop, who takes on the position and goes on new adventures.
"Untitled Spider-Man 3: Far From Home Sequel” (Dec. 17)

“The Suicide Squad” (Aug. 6)
Sometimes one needs a break from watching too many superhero movies, instead watch super-villain movies! So here’s a movie with the adventures of Harley Quinn, Rick Flag and their team of assembled super-villains. The directors have admitted that The Suicide Squad is not going to be a part 2 of the 2016 movie Suicide Squad, but a complete reboot with Idris Elba playing Deadshot instead of Will Smith.
“Black Adam” (Dec. 22)
The ancient Shazam, “Black Adam” who was defeated and trapped for thousands of years, returns to wreak havoc on the modern world, forcing a team of heroes to try and take him down. Will Black Adam who is as powerful as Shazam be defeated by a bunch of DC heroes?
“Justice League: The Snyder Cut” (Mid or Late 2021)
With the fall of Superman, there’s a fear of the darkness taking over. Hence the DC heroes form a League of Wonderwoman, Batman, The Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg to fight evil and bring forth dawn. Although Justice League released in 2017, most fans have wanted and waited for Zack Snyder’s version for years now. In a recent announcement, Snyder has confirmed that this would be a 4 hours one shot movie and not a miniseries, available on HBO Max in March 2021. Four hours of pure adrenaline guaranteed!!
